What we collect

When you contact us or engage our services, we collect your name, phone number, email address, business details and the documents required for the specific filing you have asked us to make. Depending on the service, those documents can include PAN, Aadhaar, bank statements, financial statements, property documents and photographs.

We also collect basic technical information when you visit this website — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, and referral source — through analytics tooling.

Why we collect it

Contact details are used to respond to your enquiry and to keep you informed about the progress of work you have engaged us for. Documents are used solely to prepare and submit the application or filing you have instructed, and to respond to any query raised by the relevant department.

We do not use your documents for any purpose other than the engagement they were provided for.

Who we share it with

Your documents are submitted to the relevant government department or authority as required for the filing — for example the GST portal, FoSCoS, the DGFT, the Trade Marks Registry or a state labour department. This is the purpose for which you provided them.

Where a service requires a third-party professional — a registered valuer, a chartered accountant issuing a certificate, or a certification body — we share only what that professional needs to perform their part of the work, and we tell you when this applies.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketing agencies, lead brokers or any party unrelated to your engagement.

How long we keep it

We retain engagement records for the period required to support any subsequent departmental query, renewal or audit relating to that filing. Beyond that, you can ask us to delete the documents we hold for you and we will do so, subject to any statutory record-keeping obligation that applies to the particular filing.

To request deletion, email info@legalbadshah.com from the address associated with your engagement.

How we protect it

Documents are accessible only to the person handling your file and to supervisory staff. We do not store client documents on personal devices or in unsecured consumer file-sharing services.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Where you send documents over WhatsApp or email, those services apply their own security, which is outside our control.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses analytics to understand which pages are useful and where visitors come from. This does not identify you personally. You can block cookies through your browser settings without affecting your ability to use the site.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, and ask us to delete it subject to the retention position above. You can also withdraw consent to further contact at any time.

Send any such request to info@legalbadshah.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
