What we do
Legal Badshah is a business registration and compliance practice. We prepare and file applications for GST, FSSAI, income tax, trademarks, MSME, import-export codes, digital signatures, security agency licenses and a range of certificates — and we deal with the departmental queries that follow.
To be precise about what we are not: we are not a law firm, we do not provide legal representation, and we do not hold ourselves out as advocates. Where a matter genuinely needs a lawyer or a chartered accountant in practice, we say so and, where we can, point you to one.
Most of our work comes from two places. Businesses setting up for the first time who do not know what they need — and businesses cleaning up after a consultant who filed badly, let a license lapse, or stopped answering the phone. The second category is larger than it should be.
How we work
Every engagement starts with a free consultation, and that call genuinely is free — its purpose is to establish what you actually need. Frequently the answer is less than the caller expected, and we say so.
Once you decide to proceed, documents come to us as scans on WhatsApp or email. We check every one against the officer's checklist before anything is filed, because most rejections are document mismatches that could have been caught in advance. Then we file, track the application, and respond to any query within the deadline.
When the certificate is issued, you get it along with a plain-English note on what you must do next to stay compliant — the annual return, the renewal date, the monthly filing. Knowing the obligation exists is usually the difference between staying compliant and discovering a problem two years later.
How we operate
Six things we commit to
This industry has a reputation problem and it is largely earned. These are the specific commitments we hold ourselves to.
We tell you what you don't need
The easiest way to make money in this industry is to sell four registrations to someone who needs one. We would rather have the smaller invoice and the client who comes back.
A fixed quote before you commit
We quote a firm professional fee for your case before any work starts, and the government fee is always shown apart from ours — so you can see exactly what goes to the department and what comes to us.
Timelines we can actually meet
A PSARA license takes sixty to ninety days because police verification takes that long. We say so upfront rather than promising two weeks to win the work.
A named person, not a ticket queue
You get the direct number of the person handling your file. Most clients end up on WhatsApp with them, which is how this business actually works in practice.
Your documents stay yours
PAN, Aadhaar and bank statements are handled only by the person working your file, are never shared with third parties, and are deleted on request once the work is complete.
Our errors are our cost
If an application we filed is rejected because we got something wrong, we correct and re-file it at no additional professional fee. That is not a promotion, it is the baseline.
Not sure which registration you actually need?
Tell us what your business does. We will tell you what is genuinely required, what it costs, and how long it takes — before you pay anything.
